State Services for Governor George R. Ariyoshi

On September 18 and 19, the State Memorial Service and funeral service for George Ariyoshi were held.

Mr. Ariyoshi served as Governor of Hawai‘i and was the longest-serving governor in the history of the State of Hawai‘i.

He also served as President of the Urasenke Hawai‘i Association and later as Honorary President, continuing to watch over and support the Association.

Mr. Ariyoshi cared deeply about the future of Hawai‘i and valued the generations to come.

We hope to carry on that spirit and pass it on to the next generation.

9月18日、19日、ジョージ・有吉氏の州公式追悼式ならびに告別式が執り行われました。

有吉氏は、元ハワイ州知事であり、ハワイ州史上最も長く知事を務められました。

また、茶道裏千家淡交会ハワイ協会の会長を務め、その後は名誉会長として、協会の歩みを見守ってくださいました。

ハワイの未来を思い、次の世代を大切にされた有吉氏の御志を我々も引き継いで参りたいと存じます。
