Hounsai Hanso Soshitsu Farewell Service

Farewell Service for Hōunsai Hanso Sōshitsu was held on October 12th at Honpa Hongwanji Hawai’i Betsuin. Guided by the spirit of “Peacefulness through a Bowl of Tea” Hounsai Sōsho graciously established the first overseas branch here in Hawai’i in 1951.

With heartfelt gratitude and deep respect for the Way of Tea, we continue to cherish and carry forward his legacy and aspiration into the future.

鵬雲斎汎叟宗室のお別れの会が10月12日に本派本願寺ハワイ別院にて執り行われました。

鵬雲斎宗匠は1951年に海外初の支部をハワイに築いて下さいました。

お導き下さったハワイの茶の道に、深い感謝と敬愛を捧げ、御志を紡いでゆきたいと存じます。
