A Charity Tea Gathering for Los Angeles Wildfire Victims
On January 7, 2025, the wildfire consumed many of the Los Angeles areas in California. Our very
own Urasenke Los Angeles Association members have lost their homes, and included were their
precious tea houses and tea utensils. We at Urasenke Hawaii Association would like to extend our
deepest sympathy for their loss and wish for a timely recovery. Though small, we hold this tea
gathering to raise funds to the victims and the future of Urasenke tea in LA. All proceeds from this
event will be donated to Urasenke Los Angeles Association, and additional donations will be
accepted on the day. We encourage you to invite your friends to come and have tea together on this
day to remember them.
